At least three Pakistani police officers were killed and 16 others wounded on Tuesday in a bombing that targeted a police truck in Mastung, Balochistan province, western Pakistan.
According to police sources, the attack occurred in the Shamsabad area, where a vehicle belonging to the special police force was hit, leaving several officers injured.
This incident comes less than a month after a similar explosion near a passenger bus in the same region, which killed five and injured 14 others.
Balochistan remains a hotspot for militant activity, with armed groups frequently targeting security forces. The Pakistani military continues operations in the region to dismantle these groups based in rugged border areas.
