Israeli Occupation Announces Creation of “Security Buffer” in Gaza and Intensifies Military Operations

The Israeli occupation announced on Wednesday that it has converted approximately 30% of the Gaza Strip into a “security buffer,” an area where Palestinians cannot reside.

The occupation stated that it has targeted around 1,200 “terrorist targets” and conducted over 100 “targeted killings” since resuming its offensive on March 18.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant indicated that the seizure of additional Gaza land would be “permanent” until all hostages are released, warning that Hamas would lose more territory if it continued to refuse.
