The Palestinian Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip announced today, Friday, that ten members of a single family, including seven children, were martyred in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Al-Farra family’s home in the Al-Mahatta neighborhood of Khan Younis, southern Gaza.
Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal confirmed that rescue teams recovered the bodies of the martyrs from beneath the rubble and transported them to Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis.
This airstrike is part of a series of ongoing Israeli aerial attacks on various areas of the Gaza Strip, resulting in numerous casualties, most of whom are civilians.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, the death toll since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, until Thursday, April 17, 2025, has risen to 51,065 martyrs, in addition to 116,505 wounded.
