A Russian missile strike resulted in one death in the city of Kharkiv in northeastern Ukraine, while a drone attack in the nearby city of Sumy led to another fatality.

Ten people were injured in the Kharkiv attack, including five children, which caused damage to 15 residential buildings and an educational institution.
