China Launches 6 Experimental Satellites into Space in Latest Long March Mission

China successfully launched six new experimental satellites into space on Saturday from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in Shanxi Province, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance space capabilities and test cutting-edge technologies.

According to Xinhua News Agency, the satellites, known as “Xian 27”, were lifted into their predetermined orbits at 6:51 a.m. Beijing time aboard a modified Long March-6 carrier rocket.

The satellites are designed primarily for space environment exploration and conducting related technological experiments that could support future space missions.

This launch marks the 570th flight mission of the Long March rocket series, which remains a cornerstone of China’s rapidly advancing space program, with growing ambitions in communications, Earth observation, and scientific research.
