The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday that the death toll from ongoing Israeli strikes has reached 51,157 martyrs and 116,724 injured since the war began on October 7, 2023, marking a significant escalation in the humanitarian crisis.
According to the ministry’s daily statistical report, Gaza hospitals received 92 martyrs and 219 injuries over the past 48 hours. Since Israel resumed its military operations on March 18, 2025, a total of 1,783 people have been killed and 4,683 injured.
The ministry highlighted that many victims remain trapped under rubble or in the streets, with emergency and civil defense teams unable to reach them due to the intensity of the bombardment.
Health authorities have urged families of the martyrs and missing persons to complete registration via the provided link, to ensure all records are updated within official ministry databases.
Israel resumed its offensive on March 18, effectively ending a fragile two-month truce that began in January under Egyptian-Qatari-American mediation. Since then, it has carried out widespread air raids and fire belts across several densely populated areas in Gaza.
