The British Ministry of Defense announced that Royal Air Force fighter jets intercepted two Russian aircraft while flying in the Baltic Sea region near NATO airspace, in separate incidents on Tuesday and Thursday.

According to a statement from the ministry, this interception was part of the security mission of NATO’s air patrols in the area, in which British forces are participating alongside other member countries of the alliance.
