In a new escalation of the ongoing war in Ukraine, the country witnessed a series of intense Russian attacks early Wednesday, resulting in the deaths and injuries of dozens of civilians, as well as the destruction of a vital energy facility.

A Russian kamikaze drone targeted a bus in the city of Marhanets, killing nine people and injuring at least 30, according to Serhiy Lysak.

The attacks also hit Kyiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Odesa, and Dnipropetrovsk.
