A high-ranking Russian military officer, Lieutenant General Yaroslav Moskalyuk, was killed in a car explosion in the city of Balashikha near Moscow.

The Russian Federal Security Service announced the arrest of a suspect in the case, confirming that he is a Ukrainian agent named Ihnat Kuzin.

The spokesperson for the Investigative Committee stated that investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances of the crime and gather evidence.
