U.S. warplanes launched four airstrikes on Tuesday evening targeting Sahar District in Yemen’s northern Saada province, in what Houthi-affiliated media described as a “new act of aggression” by the United States.
The strikes were reported by the Houthi-run Al-Masirah TV channel via Telegram, but no immediate details were available regarding the specific targets, casualties, or material damage.
Earlier on Tuesday, the same channel reported that U.S. aircraft had carried out six additional strikes on Bart Al-Anan District in Al-Jawf province, also in northern Yemen.
In a related development, the capital Sanaa was struck by a series of U.S. air raids early Tuesday morning, including two attacks on Bani Hashish District, according to the Houthi-run SABA News Agency.
This latest wave of airstrikes comes amid rising tensions in Yemen, raising fresh questions about the scope and objectives of U.S. military involvement in the ongoing conflict that has gripped the country for nearly a decade.
