At least 16 Palestinians were martyred and several others wounded in Israeli airstrikes targeting various areas across the Gaza Strip since dawn Wednesday, as part of what rights groups have described as ongoing acts of genocide committed by the Israeli military against civilians in the enclave for over 19 months.
In northern Gaza, a medical source confirmed the martyrdom of three Palestinians and the injury of others following an airstrike on the Jabalia al-Nazla area. Artillery shelling also continued in the Bedouin village area and eastern parts of Beit Lahia, according to eyewitnesses cited by Anadolu Agency.
In central Gaza, 12 Palestinians were martyred in three separate strikes. The first targeted the home of the Abu Jreiban family west of Nuseirat refugee camp, resulting in the martyrdom of six people, including children.
The second strike, according to medical sources, hit the Hamdan family home in the same camp, leading to the martyrdom of three people, including two children.
The bombardment is ongoing in various parts of the Strip amid growing warnings of a worsening humanitarian catastrophe under continued siege and obstruction of aid efforts.
