Somalia’s ban on the transit and entry of Taiwanese passport holders has come into effect, according to Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which accused China of pressuring the East African nation to implement these measures.

The ministry stated that Somalia’s civil aviation authority informed them last week about the new policy, while China welcomed the decision.
