On Sunday, the Iraqi capital Baghdad, was struck by a dense sandstorm, posing a significant risk to residents’ lives.

Thick clouds of dust spread across various parts of the city, resulting in severely reduced visibility in some areas, with distances not exceeding a few meters.

Many citizens are experiencing respiratory problems due to these weather conditions, marking the first event of its kind this year.
