U.S. Approves Preliminary $3.5 Billion Arms Sale to Saudi Arabia

The U.S. State Department has preliminarily approved a massive $3.5 billion arms sale to Saudi Arabia, as announced by the Pentagon.

The deal includes 1,000 AIM-120C-8 medium-range air-to-air missiles and 50 AMRAAM missile guidance units.

Although the approval has been granted, the Pentagon clarified that the agreement is not finalized, with RTX set to be the main contractor.
