Houthis Claim Drone Attacks Targeting Israeli Ramon Airport, Strategic Site in Jaffa

The Houthi military spokesperson, Yahya Saree, announced on Wednesday that the group carried out two military drone attacks targeting Ramon Airport in Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) and a strategic site in Jaffa, in what he described as a retaliatory strike against Israeli positions.

In a statement, Saree said, “We launched two military operations. The first targeted the Zionist enemy’s Ramon Airport in Umm al-Rashrash in southern occupied Palestine using two drones.”

He added that the second operation involved a Yafa-type drone targeting a strategic location in Jaffa, without providing further details on the nature of the target or the extent of the damage.

There was no immediate confirmation from Israeli authorities regarding the alleged attacks, and no reports of casualties or damage have been released.

The incident comes amid rising regional tensions and a series of retaliatory strikes between the Houthis and Israeli targets, signaling a potential escalation in the conflict.
