On Thursday, Hamas stated that its fighters are engaged in “intense clashes” with Israeli occupation soldiers near Rafah.

Hamas confirmed in a statement that it remains active in areas where the Israeli army has expanded its control after more than 19 months of aggression against Gaza.

The statement also mentioned that they ambushed an Israeli force consisting of 12 soldiers, targeting them with two anti-tank missiles, resulting in the death and injury of several soldiers.
