On Sunday, Barcelona achieved a hard-fought victory against their traditional rivals, Real Madrid, with a score of 4-3 in a match held at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, as part of the 35th round of La Liga.
Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring for Real Madrid in the 4th minute with a penalty, before doubling the lead himself in the 14th minute.
The Catalan team then rallied to score four consecutive goals, starting with Éric Garcia’s first goal in the 19th minute. Lamine Yamal equalized in the 32nd minute, and Raphinha put Barcelona ahead in the 34th minute. Just before the end of the first half, Raphinha scored again to extend his team’s lead with a fourth goal in the 45th minute.
In the second half, Mbappé shone once more, netting his third goal (a hat trick) and the third for the royal club.
With this result, Barcelona’s points tally rose to 82, maintaining their lead at the top of the standings, while Real Madrid remained at 75 points.
