A trilateral meeting between Turkey, Syria, and Jordan to discuss regional security challenges

Ankara hosted a trilateral meeting on Monday that included the foreign ministers of Turkey, Syria, and Jordan to discuss the latest security and political developments.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan reaffirmed Ankara’s full support for Syria, condemning the incursions of the Israeli occupation that threaten security and stability.

For his part, Syrian Foreign Minister Assad al-Shaibani described the Israeli airstrikes as a “calculated escalation” that destabilizes the region and drags it into conflict, pointing to the ongoing violations along the Syrian border.
