Riyadh witnessed the signing of a series of strategic agreements between Saudi Arabia and the United States during President Donald Trump’s visit.
The highlight was the signing of what is termed the “largest defense deal in history,” valued at approximately $142 billion, to provide Saudi Arabia with advanced military equipment and services.
Additionally, a Saudi private company announced contracts for $20 billion in investments in the U.S. artificial intelligence sector, bringing the total Saudi commitment to the U.S. market to $600 billion.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman added that “the Kingdom looks forward to reaching a value of investment opportunities with the United States of $1 trillion.”
The agreements also cover vital areas such as energy security, judicial cooperation, and military modernization.
