India Calls for Pakistan’s Nuclear Arsenal to be Supervised by the IAEA

India has called for its neighbor, Pakistan’s nuclear weapons, to be placed under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency following a recent military confrontation.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh raised concerns about the safety of Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal during a visit to Srinagar.

These remarks came after the worst military clash in nearly three decades, resulting in around 70 fatalities.

India accuses Pakistan of supporting militants, a claim Islamabad denies.
