Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, announced on Thursday during his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump at the Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi that his country will invest $1.4 trillion in the United States over the next ten years.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed emphasized the strong partnership between the UAE and the United States in areas such as the new economy, energy, advanced technology, artificial intelligence, and industry.

He also awarded Trump the “Sheikh Zayed Medal,” the highest honor given by the UAE to heads of state, as part of Trump’s state visit.
