Four Ministers Resign from Libyan National Unity Government Amid Public Protests

Libyan media reported today, Friday, the resignation of four ministers from the National Unity Government, including Ramadan Abu Janah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health, Minister of Economy and Trade Mohamed Al-Hweij, Minister of Housing Abu Bakr Al-Ghawi, and Minister of Higher Education Badr Al-Toumi.

These resignations come at a critical time for Libya, as thousands of protesters gathered in Martyrs’ Square in Tripoli to call for the ousting of the government and the holding of elections.

These moves reflect the political and economic challenges facing the country and are expected to impact Abdul Hamid Dbeibah’s government amid current circumstances.
