A suicide bomber from Al-Shabaab carried out an attack at the Damanyo military base in Mogadishu, resulting in the deaths of 20 individuals, including 15 recruits and 5 civilians.

Additionally, 15 others were injured with varying degrees of wounds due to the attack, which targeted the base during peak hours.
