At least 45 Palestinians were martyred and dozens more wounded early Tuesday in a series of intense Israeli airstrikes targeting residential areas across the Gaza Strip, in what marks one of the deadliest escalations since the beginning of the war.
Medical sources reported that 13 Palestinians were martyred when Israeli warplanes struck a family home in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza. An additional 15 were martyred in an airstrike on the Rady fuel station west of Nuseirat refugee camp.
In Gaza City’s Al-Daraj neighborhood, 10 people were martyred and others injured when two suicide drones targeted the Musa bin Nusayr school, which was sheltering displaced civilians.
Elsewhere, in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, 7 Palestinians were martyred in a strike on a civilian residence.
The ongoing Israeli assault on Gaza has entered its 20th consecutive month, amid growing international alarm over the catastrophic humanitarian toll and the deepening crisis in the besieged territory.
