EU to Review Partnership Agreement with Israeli Occupation Over Aid Blockade to Gaza

On Tuesday, EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell announced an order to review the partnership agreement between the EU and the Israeli occupation, a free trade agreement, following the occupation’s blockade on aid to Gaza.

Dutch Foreign Minister Kaspar Feldkamp stated that this decision was made in response to the actions of the occupation.

This comes after the Netherlands garnered enough support for its proposal to review the agreement due to the ongoing military operations of the occupation in Gaza.

In a joint statement, France, Britain, and Canada threatened to impose sanctions on the occupation if it did not halt its military operations and lift restrictions on humanitarian aid.
