FC Barcelona announced on Wednesday the extension of German coach Hansi Flick’s contract until June 30, 2027, following a remarkable season in which he led the Catalan side to a domestic treble.

Flick successfully brought Barcelona back to prominence both locally and in Europe, securing the La Liga title, the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup in his debut season with the club.

In an official statement, the club said: “FC Barcelona and Hansi Flick have reached an agreement to extend his contract with the club until June 30, 2027,” highlighting the strong confidence placed in the German coach by both the management and the fans.
