Veteran Croatian playmaker Luka Modric announced on Thursday that he will leave Real Madrid after the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup scheduled for June and July.

In an Instagram post, Modric stated he will play his last match at Santiago Bernabéu on Saturday against Real Sociedad in the final round of La Liga.

Since joining Real Madrid in 2012, Modric has won 4 domestic league titles and 6 UEFA Champions League titles, becoming one of the club’s greatest players in history.
