Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has summoned the negotiating delegation from Doha following the failure of talks regarding prisoners with the Hamas resistance movement, according to Hebrew media reports.
The disagreement remains over several points, most notably Hamas’s demand for an end to the Israeli aggression as a fundamental condition after the release of hostages, which Netanyahu firmly rejects.
For its part, the French Foreign Ministry announced its support for the efforts of American, Egyptian, and Qatari mediation to halt the war in Gaza, calling on the Israeli occupation to cease its operations in Gaza and “allow humanitarian aid to enter without obstruction.”
