Qatar Sets Record $36.5 Million Prize Pool for Arab Cup 2025

The Local Organizing Committee of the Arab Cup 2025 announced on Thursday that the total prize pool for the tournament will exceed $36.5 million—marking a record high in the history of the competition.

Qatar is set to host the tournament for the second consecutive time following its successful staging of the 2021 edition. The event will take place from December 1 to 18, 2025, and feature the participation of 16 national teams from across the Arab world.

The official draw for the tournament will be held this coming Sunday in Doha, coinciding with the draw for the FIFA U-17 World Cup, which Qatar will host annually for five consecutive editions beginning in 2025. The first edition is scheduled for November 3–27.

The 2025 Arab Cup is expected to be one of the region’s premier football tournaments, drawing significant fan and media interest and showcasing high-level competition and world-class organization.
