The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced the execution of a complex ambush targeting an Israeli engineering unit near the border fence east of Khan Younis.

They stated in a statement that their fighters targeted the unit with an anti-personnel missile and then engaged them at close range with automatic weapons, resulting in casualties.

They also reported hitting two tanks and a military bulldozer with “Yasin 105” missiles in the al-Farahin area east of Khan Younis.
