Arab Media Summit 2025 Kicks Off in Dubai with Over 8,000 Media Professionals

The Arab Media Summit 2025 officially opened on Monday at the Dubai World Trade Centre, bringing together more than 8,000 media professionals from across the UAE and the wider Arab world in one of the region’s largest media gatherings.

The summit began with sessions under the Arab Youth Media Forum, attracting prominent political figures, media leaders, editors-in-chief, content creators, digital influencers, technology experts, and academics from across the Arab region. Discussions are centered on shaping the future of media development and innovation.

Running through May 28, the summit features a comprehensive program of over 175 main sessions and more than 35 specialized workshops, delivered by leading global media organizations and digital platforms.

The opening day also included a ceremony for the “Ibda’a” Award for Arab Youth Media, which celebrates outstanding contributions by emerging young talents in the media industry.

More than 300 speakers from the region and around the world are participating in the event, addressing key topics such as digital transformation, future media trends, and the evolving role of technology in content creation and journalism.
