Gaza Civil Defense: 44 Martyrs in Israeli Airstrikes Since Thursday Dawn

The Gaza Civil Defense reported on Thursday that 44 Palestinians were martyred in a wave of Israeli airstrikes targeting various areas across the besieged Gaza Strip since dawn.

Mohammed al-Mughayyir, Director of Medical Supplies at the Civil Defense, stated: “Forty-four martyrs were transported following Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since early this morning,” according to remarks carried by Agence France-Presse (AFP).

The strikes come amid an intensifying military campaign in Gaza, where more than 600 days of war have left widespread destruction and a deepening humanitarian crisis. Health infrastructure remains severely compromised, complicating rescue and relief efforts.

The Gaza Strip continues to face relentless bombardment as international efforts to secure a ceasefire have yet to bear fruit, with both Israel and Palestinian factions trading blame for the ongoing violence.

Humanitarian organizations have raised alarm over the rising toll on civilians, including women and children, warning that continued hostilities could push the enclave further into catastrophe.
