Iran Warns European Countries of a “Strategic Mistake” at IAEA Meeting

Iran warned European countries on Friday, through its Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, against making a “strategic mistake” at the upcoming meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors next week.

Araqchi wrote on the platform “X”: “Instead of interacting in good faith, the European trio (Germany, France, and the UK) chooses to act maliciously against Iran in the Board of Governors.”

Diplomatic sources reported on Thursday that the three European countries, which are parties to the 2015 agreement regarding Iran’s nuclear program, intend to propose a resolution against Iran at the board, threatening to refer its case to the United Nations.
