Paris Saint-Germain secured their maiden UEFA Champions League title in emphatic fashion, defeating Italy’s Inter Milan 5–0 in the final held at Allianz Arena in Munich.
The French champions took early control of the match, with Moroccan defender Achraf Hakimi opening the scoring in the 12th minute. Désiré Doué added two more goals in the 20th and 63rd minutes, followed by further strikes from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (73′) and substitute Maiolo (86′) to complete a dominant performance.
This marks a historic achievement for PSG, who had previously reached the final in 2020 but fell short against Bayern Munich. This time, however, the Parisian side delivered a commanding display, overwhelming their Italian opponents with relentless pace and technical brilliance.
The victory also represents a milestone for Qatar Sports Investments, which acquired the club in 2011 and has since made the Champions League a top priority in its long-term project.
