Rising Casualty Toll in Gaza as Qatar Reports Progress in Ceasefire Negotiations

The Ministry of Health in Gaza has announced that the death toll has risen to 52,243 after verifying the identities of hundreds of missing persons, while Israeli attacks continue amid restrictions on humanitarian aid access.

In a related development, Qatar confirmed “some progress” in ceasefire negotiations.

Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani stated that a meeting with Israeli Mossad chief David Barnea yielded limited advancements.

He emphasized the need to find a solution to end the war, noting that the meeting is part of ongoing efforts to achieve a breakthrough in the negotiations.
