On Tuesday, Russia announced a prisoner exchange with Ukraine, involving over a thousand soldiers as part of a second batch outlined in an agreement reached during peace talks last week.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that Kyiv has regained a new group of prisoners, stating that this operation represents the first phase of returning wounded and seriously injured soldiers.
Additionally, the Russian Foreign Ministry demanded a halt to NATO’s eastward expansion as a precondition for ending the war.
