Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares affirmed that his country will continue to raise its voice for an end to military operations in Gaza, emphasizing the importance of defending justice and the dignity of Palestinian civilians.

Spain hosted an international meeting today, Sunday, with around 20 countries and international organizations to coordinate efforts to de-escalate the situation in Gaza.

The minister announced that Spain is considering imposing sanctions on the Israeli occupation and is calling for the unhindered entry of humanitarian aid.

The Madrid meeting is expected to contribute to the revitalization of the two-state solution as a fundamental option for ending the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
