Two new Qatari and Saudi aid planes arrived in the Syrian capital Damascus on Thursday as part of the air bridges operated by Riyadh and Doha to help the Syrian people.
According to the official Syrian News Agency (SANA).
The agency said: ‘A Qatari aid plane arrived at Damascus International Airport carrying food provided by the Qatar Fund for Development.
The agency added: ‘A Saudi aid plane landed at Damascus International Airport today with 30 tonnes of food and shelter materials on board.
For its part, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said on its website that ‘the twelfth Saudi aid plane operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre left Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport on Thursday for the Syrian capital Damascus’.
