Trump Confirms US-China Trade Talks Scheduled for Monday in London

US President Donald Trump announced on Friday that a senior US government delegation will meet with Chinese officials in London next Monday in a renewed effort to narrow ongoing trade disputes between the two countries.

In a post on the Truth Social platform, Trump said the US delegation will include Treasury Secretary Scott Peasent, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, and US Trade Representative Jameson Greer.

Trump expressed confidence that the meeting would go well, emphasizing the diplomatic efforts underway from both sides.

He also thanked the US delegation members for their serious commitment to addressing trade issues with China, as talks continue to ease tensions between the world’s two largest economies.
