The Middle East is witnessing unprecedented military escalation between Iran and the Israeli occupation, marked by intense aerial and missile exchanges for the third consecutive day.

The Israeli military has launched heavy airstrikes targeting the capital, Tehran, and several western sites in Iran, while Tehran responded with missile barrages aimed at central and northern occupied Palestinian territories, resulting in extensive destruction in Tel Aviv, with 13 reported dead and over 240 injured, according to Israeli media.

Israeli authorities declared Bat Yam a “disaster zone” following the impact of numerous missiles, with 35 individuals reported missing and 61 buildings damaged, amid widespread power outages and ongoing rescue operations.

In contrast, Iran confirmed the deaths of 128 people, including women and children, due to Israeli strikes over the weekend, along with hundreds of injuries.

Politically, the Israeli occupation has requested Washington’s assistance in targeting the Iranian Fordow nuclear facility, but the U.S. administration has stated it will not intervene unless its forces are targeted.

Additionally, Tehran announced the arrest of a “high-ranking spy” linked to Mossad while attempting to flee through the western border in Kurdistan province.
