As the US military campaign against Iran enters its second week, estimates of the cost of operations vary, with research centers suggesting they could reach nearly $890 million per day.
The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) estimated the cost of the first 100 hours of the operation at about $3.7 billion, equivalent to roughly $891 million per day.
According to the report, a significant portion of the spending is driven by air operations, which cost the Pentagon about $30 million per day, while naval operations cost around $15 million daily.
The center noted that these figures do not include global economic losses caused by disruptions to shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most critical energy transit routes.
