The headquarters of the European Union mission in Kyiv sustained damage during a large-scale Russian airstrike on the Ukrainian capital overnight Wednesday into Thursday, European Council President António Costa confirmed.

In a post on X, Costa condemned what he described as “another deadly night of Russian missile attacks on Ukraine,” expressing solidarity with “the Ukrainian victims and the EU mission staff whose building was deliberately targeted by Russia.”
