France, Germany, and the United Kingdom have warned Iran they will trigger the UN’s “snapback” mechanism to reimpose sanctions if Tehran does not return to nuclear negotiations before the end of August 2025.

The warning came in an official letter to the UN following a round of direct talks held last month in Istanbul.
