FIFA announced Friday that it has received 4.5 million ticket requests for the 2026 World Cup, to be hosted jointly by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The requests were submitted during a 10-day presale window reserved for credit card holders of the tournament’s sponsors.
According to FIFA, applications came from 216 countries and territories, with the three host nations topping the list, followed by Germany, England, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Spain, and Italy.
Fans who applied will be notified starting September 29, with a purchase window opening on October 1. Ticket prices for group-stage matches will start at $60.
