FIFA said on Tuesday that the third phase of ticket sales for the 2026 World Cup will begin on December 11 and run until January 13.

The governing body announced on its website that the first two phases saw high demand and rapid sell-outs, with fans from more than 200 countries and territories applying for nearly two million tickets.

FIFA added that supporters from the three host nations – the United States, Canada and Mexico – accounted for the largest share of purchases, followed by fans from England, Germany, Brazil, Colombia, Spain, Argentina and France.
