Spain’s Zaragoza province witnessed sudden flash floods following record rainfall, submerging streets and disrupting traffic.
Local media reported that the towns of Cuarte, Cadrete, and María de Huerva were hardest hit, with emergency services receiving more than 120 distress calls.
Evacuation and rescue operations continued into the night, while Valencia recorded a rainfall peak of 57 liters in just 35 minutes.
