Heavy monsoon rains have caused widespread floods and landslides across several states in northern India, isolating entire regions and disrupting daily life.
In Indian-administered Kashmir, major roads have been closed due to recurring landslides, while river levels have risen dangerously in Jammu.
An annual Hindu pilgrimage in Katra was also suspended due to the severe weather conditions, as the region continues to recover from the disasters that occurred last month.
