The French presidency announced that President Emmanuel Macron will visit Cyprus on Monday to discuss security developments in the Middle East and efforts to strengthen stability in the eastern Mediterranean.
Macron is scheduled to meet Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to discuss maritime security and regional stability.
The visit comes amid rising regional tensions and recent attacks targeting military bases in Cyprus over the past few days.
