The Freedom Flotilla Coalition reaffirmed Tuesday that its mission to Gaza remains unchanged despite a fire that damaged part of a Spanish vessel docked at Sidi Bou Said port near the Tunisian capital.
In a press conference, the coalition said the matter is now in the hands of the competent authorities, and participants will await the results of official investigations.
“What matters most is the flotilla itself,” the coalition stressed, adding that no incident would deter it from its destination or its mission.
It further underlined its determination and resilience, stating it would not be intimidated by Israeli military threats, with its ultimate goal remaining to end the blockade on Gaza and support the Palestinian people.
