Seven people were injured in an explosion that occurred in a residential building in the Pardisan neighborhood near Qom, according to the Iranian news agency Fars.

Authorities confirmed that the explosion was caused by a gas leak, not as a result of an Israeli attack, as had been circulated.

A fire department official stated that four residential units were damaged, while Iranian sources denied the existence of any hostile action or alarms.
